Acting governor Jude U. Hofschneider appointed Thursday afternoon attorney Ramon “Ray” King Quichocho to serve on the CNMI Superior Court.
Quichocho’s appointment requires the Senate’s advice and consent.
If confirmed, Quichocho will serve a six-year term.
“I respectfully request your favorable action on this nomination,” Hofschneider told Senate President Ralph Torres (R-Saipan) in a letter appointing Quichocho.
Gov. Eloy S. Inos left for Guam to meet today with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas and Joint Region Marianas Rear Adm. Tilghman D. Payne, press secretary Angel Demapan told Saipan Tribune. Inos is expected to be back to the CNMI tonight.
