The CNMI Public School System has announced that its Fall 2012 online course registration is open to all students in the CNMI grades 7-12.
Students must register online at www.goo.gl/VJJwc. Deadline to register is Aug. 17, 2012. Registration after this date will require approval and/or student to be wait-listed. It is first come, first serve with priority given to high school juniors and seniors for high-demand high school courses.
Courses being offered allow students to receive credit required for promotion and graduation.
Do you have a computer and access to the Internet? Do you want to graduate on time or early? If you answered yes, you’re motivated and can work independently from home then get on your computer, register and attend an orientation.
Laptops are suggested but not required for hands-on orientation listed below.
Recruitment, registration, and orientation schedules are as follows:
1. Aug. 7 (Tuesday)
- Sinapalo Library 11am-12:30pm
- Rota Mayor's Office 5:30pm-7:30pm
2. Aug. 8 (Wednesday)
- RHI Library 9am-11am
- Sinapalo Library 12:30pm-2pm
3. Aug. 14 (Tuesday), Saipan Multi-Purpose Center 5:30pm-7pm
4. Aug. 17 (Friday), Kagman High School Cafeteria 1:30pm-3pm
5. Aug. 22 (Wednesday), Saipan Multi-Purpose Center 5:30pm-7pm
6. Aug. 23 (Thursday), Tinian Jr./Sr. High School Library
- 9am-11am (Recruitment & Registration Only)
- 12:30pm - 2pm (Orientation)
Fall courses begin Sept. 4, 2012 and end Jan. 18, 2013. Courses include: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, US History, AP US History, US Government & Economics, NMI History, Health, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Literature & Composition (LA 1), World Literature (LA 2), American Literature (LA 3), British Literature (LA 4), Pre-AP English Language, AP English Language, Chamorro, Carolinian, Japanese, Middle School English, Middle School Science, Middle School General Math, Pre-Algebra, Accelerated Reading & Writing, Financial Literacy, SAT Prep, Teacher Academy, Student Leadership, Computer Applications, Computer Literacy, Psychology, Multimedia and Video Production. Courses are updated as they become available. Courses that do not meet the minimum number of students will not be offered.
