BMV is open today
Department of Public Safety acting commissioner Ambrosio T. Ogumoro is pleased to announce that the Bureau of Motor of Vehicle (BMV) will be open today, Aug. 3, 2012. BMV will be open every other Friday in pursuant to the governor's directive of lifting eight hours of austerity measures.
Ogumoro is notifying all motor vehicle owners issued temporary license plates and car registrations to appear at BMV and surrender the temporary plates and registration. In return, new license plates and registrations will be issued.

MHS PTA Clean-Up, Paint, and Beautify Day tomorrow
This Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at 7:30am, MHS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) will conduct a Clean-Up, Paint, and Beautify Day at our campus. UOG to hold retiree recognition ceremony
As part of the University of Guam's yearlong 60th Anniversary Celebration, UOG retirees will be recognized and honored for their dedication, service, and contribution to the University's growth and success during a special ceremony.
The event will be held from 10am to 12noon on Friday, Aug. 3, at the Jesus S. and Eugenia A. Leon Guerrero School of Business and Public Administration Building, Multi-Purpose Room #129. Nearly 350 UOG retirees will be recognized during the ceremony.
