Remembrance Program to honor memory of all kids gone too soon

The death of a child, of any age, from any cause, is a shattering experience for a family. The family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The holidays are often an especially difficult time.

Families and friends are invited to join a Remembrance Program on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at 6:30pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe to honor their loved ones. The program is being held in conjunction with The Compassionate Friends’ 16th Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting Service. Tens of thousands of bereaved family members around the globe will join together to light remembrance candles to honor the memories of children who have died but will never be forgotten.

Candle will be lit at 7pm local time, as we commemorate and honor the memory of all children gone too soon. A virtual 24-hour wave of light will move from time zone to time zone around the world.
