PDM Promoters awaits Tinian entries for annual holiday drawing tilt

The Tinian entries to the “My Holiday Greetings to our Visitors” drawing contest have yet to arrive, according to Sonia Siwa of PDM Promoters, Inc.

Siwa said on Saturday that they have been going back and forth to the post office in anticipation of the drawing entries which were mailed last Nov. 19.

She added they do not have the total number of entries that were mailed out.

“My Holiday Greetings to our Visitors” is an annual drawing contest sponsored by PDM Promoters, Inc. for Rota and Tinian elementary students.

Contest winners will take home cash prizes and gift packs.

Siwa disclosed that as of Saturday, they only received the 56 entries from Rota elementary students.

The judging of the drawing entries was supposed to coincide with the judging of the 7th Christmas Tree Decoration Contest, which was held during the launching of a bigger “Christmas in the Marianas” celebration of the newly formed group Friends of Paseo de Marianas last Saturday.

“We will follow up again the Tinian entries this week before we have our judges evaluate the Rota entries,” Siwa told Saipan Tribune. “We don’t want the hard work and efforts of our students from Tinian to go to waste.”
