Hyatt lines up holiday treats

Holiday festivities will be in full swing at Hyatt Regency Saipan with the premier international brand name bringing together an array of activities for the community to enjoy.

Hyatt Regency Saipan launched its yuletide celebration at the lobby at the beginning of the month when they hosted the traditional lighting ceremony of a towering Christmas tree decked in red and gold.

On Dec. 10, the aroma of the gingerbread house by the entrance to DJ’s Corner will waft through the air, enticing customers to try any of the stores pastry delights or to purchase gift ideas for their loved ones.

Yuletide observance will not be complete without hearing the most celebrated Christmas carols, and Hyatt will have their guests serenaded starting Dec. 22.

For the youngsters and young at hearts, Santa Claus will make an effort to visit the island all the way from the North Pole from Dec. 22 to Dec. 24. Children will have the chance to sit on Santa’s lap and have their photos taken with Hyatt’s enchanted Christmas castle as a backdrop.

Families wondering what to have for their Christmas banquet can have an exquisite holiday feast from the Hyatt available from Dec. 22 until Christmas Day. Club at the Hyatt members get a special 15-percent discount on their holiday takeout.

Hyatt Regency Saipan also has a an array of celebratory Christmas Eve and Christmas Day offerings at their restaurants: Giovanni’s, Teppanyaki, Miyako, and Kili Café and Terrace.

To welcome the New Year, Hyatt Regency Saipan will be transformed into vintage Hollywood, with the sophisticated and glamorous scene straight from the silver screen. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day feasts will also be available.

Beginning 10:30am on Jan. 1, 2013, Hyatt Regency Saipan will perform the Japanese sake-breaking ceremony called Kagami-wari to wish for 365 days of prosperity and success.
