Paul K. Baron, P.E. has joined Winzler & Kelly Consulting Engineers.
Baron is a licensed professional engineer in the CNMI and Guam. He has more than 20 years experience in a wide variety of engineering and construction projects, the last 15 of those years on Saipan. He has worked on numerous design, permitting and construction management projects including extensive apron and runway work at Saipan and Tinian airports as well as wetland mitigation projects, McDonald’s Restaurant, Saipan Harbor Improvement, the Beach Hotel’s 18-story extension, Precinct I and II road and drainage designs, Tanapag Heights and Caroline Heights subdivision.
Baron will initially work in Winzler & Kelly’s Saipan office and will assist the Guam office.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
He, his wife Emma, and their three children are actively involved in Saipan community events and organizations. Baron is on the board of the local chapter of the American Red Cross, has been the MathCounts State coordinator for the past 12 years, worked with Cub Scouts, given Engineer’s Week Presentations to schools throughout the CNMI, and is a coach for Little League Baseball and youth soccer.

Winzler & Kelly is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with offices in California, Guam and Saipan where they provide services throughout Micronesia as well as to organizations in the Republic of Korea. The firm has performed engineering work in the western Pacific since the early 1980’s.
