Public and private educational institutions and charitable foundations serving the CNMI received a financial boost yesterday from Bridge Capital, LLC.
In a ceremony at the Office of the Governor, Bridge Capital chief executive officer John K Baldwin presented checks for $5,000 to the Ben Fitial Foundation, $9,000 to the Public School System for performing arts programs at public intermediate and high schools, and $10,000 to Northern Marianas College for various programs.
“We hope these donations will help these important programs in our community,” said Baldwin. “Bridge Capital has a particular interest in education, but we recognize that all of the non-profit organizations in the Commonwealth are in need of more funding. We are happy to help out where we can.”
Also receiving donations yesterday were the Salvation Army, Karidat, CNMI CrimeStoppers, the Northern Marianas Academy and Grace Christian Academy.
Bridge Capital also donated $15,000 to First Lady Josie Fitial's Vision Foundation, and $5,000 to the Red Cross Club 200 fundraising earlier this month.
