Last Saturday, May 19, 2012, I observed that many members of the community were cleaning the Francisco Palacios Baseball Field parking lot. As president of the Little League Baseball, Inc., I took some time to see who were doing this outstanding community contribution. To my surprise, I met Mr. Jerry Tan. He was calling for the pickup vehicle to get the bags of trash. I also had the opportunity to talk to some of the club's members.
On behalf of the board of directors and officers of the Saipan Little League Baseball, Inc., the parents, managers, coaches, and most particularly the players, I would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation and thank you to the Saipan Badminton Club, in association with the CNMI International Badminton Association, for their continued effort to beautify Saipan.
To Mr. Jerry Tan and the members of your badminton club, no words can completely express our heartfelt appreciation and thank you for your effort to clean not just the Francisco Palacios Baseball Field but also some other areas around Saipan. Your contribution to this community deserves recognition. Thank you, maraming salamat po, and gilisou!
