I like to respond to what has been reported in the newspapers about my daughter Carmelita. Police arrested my daughter for allegedly hitting her common-law husband with her car.
The morning after the incident, I actually went to the hospital to check on her common-law husband. When I went and asked information at the emergency room, they told me that they released him already.
If it's serious like broken ribs and other injuries, they will not release him right away. About the frying pan case, Carmelita is not crazy just to slap his common-law husband with a frying pan without reason.
That's why Carmelita told their kid to call the police when he saw her mom crying and laying down on the floor. It would've not happened if her common-law husband followed his restraining order in the first place. Why did he enter his wife's house when there's a restraining order preventing him from not coming within 200 feet of her? My daughter is not supposed to be in jail if this guy obeyed the law.
