The Emon Lodge 179/ MDX Sports Association Basketball B League is hoping to open shop on Aug. 12 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
So far five teams have already confirmed their entry to the league. The list includes Island Servitech Auto Paint Shop, Armatech, Fong's Bakery, Archers, and the Sonics. League officials are looking for three more teams and will open a separate competition for U19.
Entrance fee is only $350 and each team are allowed to have only 12 players on their roster. Games will be played every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Meanwhile, representatives of interested teams are requested to attend a meeting tomorrow at 5:30pm at the pavilion at the back of the Ada gym.
