CPA sets random vehicle inspections

The Commonwealth Ports Authority announced yesterday that it will be conducting random vehicle inspection on vehicles approaching the terminal. This is to prevent or deter Large Vehicle Improvised Explosive Device, LVIED, or Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices, VBIED.

Ports police will remove any unauthorized vehicles parked at the terminal building where passengers load and unload.

Random inspection will take place at the entrance to the departure terminal and will be conducted daily during peak hours at the airport terminal. (PR)
