BankGuam declares Q3 dividends
BankGuam Holding Company recently announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.125 per share at the board's regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.
The dividend will be paid on Sept. 28, 2012, to shareholders of record on Sept. 17, 2012.
“The continuing strength and solid performance of Bank of Guam has allowed us to pay dividends to our shareholders as we have since 1976,” said president and board chair Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero. (PR)
BankPacific declares record earnings
BankPacific declared its best earnings in its 58 years at its annual shareholders meeting held Aug. 25.
As a result, record dividends were paid to the bank's holding company, BancPacific Financial Holding Company. The holding company in turn declared its highest dividend yet in the amount of $0.46 per share, a 22-percent increase over last year's dividend.
“We thank our staff and management who have worked so hard to reach our record earnings and to allow us the ability to declare our dividends,” said bank president Philip Flores. “They are the ones who keep our clients coming back. And without good service, there is no bank.
With respect to the future, Flores responded, “We're bullish. The best lies ahead for our bank and for our communities.” (BankPacific)
