MHS loses 5 laptops to burglars

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community's assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred at Marianas High School in Susupe.

On Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at about 10:45am, police responded to a burglary incident located at the school's MEDIA classroom D-104. The teacher, a local male, discovered the classroom door unlocked when he approached the room. The teacher opened the door to discover that the window louvers have been removed from the window next to his desk. The suspect(s) gained entry through the window by pushing it in and breaking a fiberglass frame protecting the window.

Five silver MacBook Pro laptops with a 17” screens were taken from the classroom. Each laptop is valued at over $1,500 each. The stolen laptops contain special video production software unique to those laptops.

The computer laptops were last seen on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at about 4pm when the teacher locked up the classroom.
