Police arrested Wednesday afternoon on Tinian a 39-year-old man who allegedly dragged a woman inside his house and hugged and kissed her in separate incidents.
Michael Hocog Lizama was arrested for assault and battery, and disturbing the peace. He was set to appear yesterday afternoon for a bail hearing at the Superior Court on Saipan.
A $10,000 cash bail was initially imposed for Lizama's temporary release.
Police detective Melissa Bauleong stated in her report that police officer Wally Villagomez responded to a house on Tinian on Sunday after receiving a complaint of assault and battery.
The alleged victim told Villagomez that on Aug. 6 Lizama came from behind her and dragged her inside a house in Marpo Valley. The alleged victim struggled, screaming and crying, forcing Lizama to let her go.
Lizama then allegedly apologized to the alleged victim several times throughout the week. Reportedly, he would call her and even go to her house.
On Aug. 30, Lizama came to her house and allegedly hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.
The woman said she was afraid of Lizama because he keeps guns in his house.
Police detective Bauleong said that Lizama has a registered Remington .410 shotgun, Remington .22 caliber rifle, and a Winchester .22 caliber rifle.
