The Commonwealth Cancer Association will be participating at the IT&E and Marianas Walking Association's “Aqua Walk” tomorrow, Sept. 15, 2012.
IT&E, MWA, and CCA staff and volunteers will be at the registration to distribute handouts related to childhood and prostate cancer. The goal of the month's awareness program is to encourage early detection and early treatment of these cancers, with the outcome of a better prognosis.
Aqua Walk, one of IT&E's signature annual events, will take place at the beach at Aquarius Beach Tower hotel in Chalan Kanoa. The course will be in the water or at the beachside.
Registration will begin at 6:30am, and special T-shirts will be handed out to registrants while supplies last.
