Tydingco-Gatewood appoints Guam tax lawyer to serve as Fund's trustee ad litem

U.S. District Court for the NMI designated judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood announced today, Friday, the selection of Guam tax lawyer Joseph Razzano to serve as trustee ad litem for the NMI Retirement Fund.

Tydingco-Gatewood said Razzano will arrive on Saipan on Monday to meet with the Fund staff and counsel as well as Fund stakeholders.
The judge said Razzano will decide who will serve as the acting Fund administrator.

Razzano is a member of the Civille and Tang law firm in Guam.
Tydingco-Gatewood decided to appoint a temporary ad litem trustee for the Fund board in order for the board to have a quorum, reply to a class lawsuit filed by Betty Johnson against Gov. Benigno R. Fitial and the Fund, and deal with the day-to-day Fund operations.
More details to follow.
