MHS PTA meeting tomorrow

The first Marianas High School Parent Teacher Association meeting of the school year will be held tomorrow, Sept. 18, 2012, at 6:30pm at the MHS Gym. For more information, call 237-3206. (PR)

Military training on FDM, Area W-517

The U.S. military will be conducting exercises on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla and Area W-517 south of Guam on Sept. 15 to 21, 2012, from 8am to 11:59pm. The public-especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and marine tour operators-are advised to stay away from this area during the time and dates indicated. The general location of this activity will be on the island of Farallon de Mendenilla training area on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants and W-517, an area comprising 14,000 nautical miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest into international waters. Financial Aid Family Night in Koblerville

The College Access Challenge Grant will be hosting a "Financial Aid Family Night" at the Koblerville Youth Learning Center on Sept. 18, 2012, at 5pm. The community will learn more about tuition assistance and how to fill out the forms. (PR)
