Good Samaritan

On Wednesday I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Kanis Sinounou, whom many in the community now know as the Good Samaritan who stopped the attempted robbery of two tourists recently and helped authorities apprehend the suspect. I think we all agree he did a good deed.

I asked Mr. Sinounou, and he is interested in finding a job. I got his blessing to write this letter and let potential employers know his experience as a bus driver and on a bottled water production line. He still needs his GED. He can be reached at 234-9094 (home) or 789-4392 (cell) and would be happy to send any potential employer his resume or come in for a job interview.

How well can you know a person from a news story and a 10-minute conversation? I can’t honestly say I know Mr. Sinounou well, but first impressions count a lot, and actions speak louder than words. He seems like a humble guy who would appreciate a chance. Employers, why not give him a call to see if he might fit on your team?
