Prior to his appointment as Labor administrative hearing officer, Hirshbein served at Labor as legal counsel and as internal affairs officer.
In December 2007, Labor Secretary Gil M. San Nicolas appointed Hirsbein as Labor director.
Hirshbein's last position at Labor was administrative hearing officer.
Last Sept. 6, Hirshbein, through counsel Timothy Bellas, filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition before the U.S. District Court for the NMI.
