CRIME OF THE WEEK
Kagman home burglarized twice

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community's assistance for information on a burglary incident that occurred at a residence in Kagman 3.

On Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at about midnight, police responded to the crime located at the residence. The victim, a 54-year-old female, left her home at about 8:30am. She returned at midnight to discover her residence in disarray and ransacked.

The police were called and a burglary and theft report filed. The victim slept elsewhere that night and returned home the next day, Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at about 4:30pm. The victim discovered her home burglarized again. The point of entry was through the kitchen window.

Police were contacted and the responding police officer discovered footprints behind the house on a trail leading to an abandoned house nearby. Some of the stolen items belonging to the victim were recovered at the abandoned house. The recovered items were secured as evidence. A detailed list of the missing items was unavailable at the time of this report.
