Marianas Pacific Distributors Inc. or Marpac is encouraging organizations and companies to participate in the “2012 Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Fair, and Daddies too!” event next month.
The health fair, slated for Oct. 20, from 10am to 4pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, aims to broaden health awareness and promote well-being within families.
Marpac's Vinycia Seman said yesterday that they already sent out invitations to healthcare providers, civic organizations, insurance companies, government offices, childcare development centers, and other vendors to set up booths at the fair.
Booth registration is free on a first-come, first-served basis due to space restrictions. The deadline to submit completed registration forms is on Monday, Oct. 8.
The “2012 Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Fair, and Daddies too!” will focus on health, beauty, and hygiene for individuals and families and will feature games and activities.
These include Diaper Derby, a contest for the fastest diaper changer in both Mommies & Daddies divisions; Quick Crawl, a race for the fastest baby crawler; and Baby Pageant, which is open to all babies still using diapers daily and can come up with costumes made out of Huggies, which is distributed by Marpac.
Marpac will also hold raffle draws every hour for a chance to win various prizes.
Seman said that Marpac also has an ongoing promotion wherein customers who buy Huggies products at participating stores will be eligible to enter the grand prize draw by writing their name and contact information on their receipt and dropping it in the drop box located at participating stores.
Participants must be present to win either a one-year supply of Enfamil and/or a one-year supply of Huggies Diapers and Wipes, she said.
Seman encouraged Huggies customers to save all UPC codes found in the packaging of any Huggies merchandise, including diaper case boxes, wrappers, and wipes tubs to redeem free Huggies products at next month's fair.
