Two persons died of hanging in separate incidents at their houses on Saipan Saturday night.
The Department of Public Safety has yet to release information about the incidents to the media.
Saipan Tribune learned that the hanging happened about two hours apart.
The victims were a man in his late 20s residing in Chinatown and a woman in her 30s staying in Kannat Tabla.
Sources said the woman is the daughter of a late Public School System official.
Although police investigations are ongoing, investigators are looking into both cases as possibly suicide.
