Police arrested on Saturday a 36-year-old man who allegedly touched the private parts of a minor girl on several occasions.
Police said the sexual abuse was revealed after a school staff noticed the victim having a red mark believed to be a hickey.
Carlos Ketebengang was taken to the Superior Court Monday for sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, disturbing the peace, and assault and battery.
Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $25,000 cash bail for the defendant's temporary release.
Police Officer Josef P. Deleon Guerrero stated in his report that police conducted an investigation after a school principal reported the sexual abuse incident on Friday.
The girl then confessed to the police that Ketebengang touched her private parts on six separate occasions in August and September 2012.
