Crime Stoppers is seeking the community's assistance for information on a burglary incident that occurred at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium in Oleai.
Last Friday, Sept. 28, at about 7am, employees at the gym discovered the storage room was left slightly open. The room was secured the day before, at the end of the work day. Two bundles of electrical wires valued at over $600 were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.
The wires were supposed to be installed on the pre-paid meters for the basketball courts in the villages of Tanapag, San Roque, As Matuis, and Capital Hill.
