The Department of Public Works/Energy Division Office announced yesterday that the “2012 National Energy Action Month” will start on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, with two sessions (morning and afternoon) at the Tinian Gymnasium on Tinian for those who were not able to avail and participate in the last campaign event on Aug. 3, 2012.
The Energy Division, through its Energy Education, Efficiency and Conservation efforts, will be distributing reusable shopping bags with Home Energy Savings Kits. In addition, registered attendees will be required to present a copy of their most recent utility bill, in their name, to be allowed to participate in the schedule sessions.
The schedule of events is as follows:
* 1st session - 9am to 11am
* 2nd session - 2pm to 4pm
