SBA October roll-offs start Sunday

The Saipan Bowling Association will be holding its October roll-offs at the Capital Bowling Center in Garapan this Sunday and on Monday.

Three monthly titles will be up for grabs in the Oct. 14 and 15 competition.

In the Budweiser King and Queen of the Lanes, male and female adult keglers will fight for the Octobers plums for two days. Sunday's roll-off will begin at 4pm, while Monday's will start at 6pm. Bowlers are allowed to compete on either days or both, but only the higher score will be counted.

Entry fee is $15 and only the first 48 bowlers to register will be able to compete. Cash prizes for the King of the Lanes will depend on the number of entries, while the Queen of the Lanes will only give cash prizes provided at least 10 female keglers will join the tournament.

In the Fiji Water Prince/Princess of the Lanes, the competition will take place only on Sunday. Entry fee is only $10 and youth bowler must also pay the $10 membership fee to qualify for the monthly tournaments. Membership fee for adults is $15.
