One of the owners of Rose Dance School emphasized the importance of ballroom dancing during the dance studio's third anniversary program last Oct. 6.
Carol Wong-Chan said that ballroom dancing results in good health, whether one considers it a passion or a hobby.
“Because we're sweating while we move, we are already doing exercise while we enjoy dancing at the same time,” she said.
Over 50 students and supporters joined the Rose Dance School anniversary celebration held at the Royal Taga Hall of Saipan World Resort.
Highlighting the event were production numbers featuring swing, cha-cha, samba, tango, waltz, and other ballroom dances by both instructors and their apprentices.
“I am encouraging all of you to invite your family, friends, relatives, co-workers, and even your neighbors to join us to promote an exercise that everybody enjoys. See you on our next anniversary show,” Wong-Chan told her audience.
Wong-Chan also expressed her appreciation to all the full- and part-time instructors at Rose Dance School and the committee that made the event successful.
