USCIS to host free Chinese session on petitioning immediate relative

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif.-U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will host a free information session of its “Jiao Liu” series on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at 11am (Pacific Time.) The topic will be “Petitioning for an Immediate Relative.” This national session will be exclusively in Chinese and available for the public to participate via Internet or toll-free telephone.

The “Jiao Liu” engagements provide agency updates, help customers understand how to petition for an immediate relative, and includes live question-and-answer sessions with USCIS officials fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Participants may participate via telephone at 1-888-989-4980 (Passcode: Jiao liú) or live Web stream at www.uscis.gov/jiaoliu.
