The Commonwealth Cancer Association, in partnership with the CHC Non-Communicable Disease Bureau, Get Fit CNMI, LLC, KKMP, and the Hard Rock Café Saipan announce a series of events celebrating October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Over five bands, raffles, auctions, and a slide show will highlight the annual signature event of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pinktober is scheduled for the evening of Oct. 26, 2012, at the Hard Rock Café. Tickets for the event are $11.
The month's activities will continue with a roadside waving and pink ribbon distribution on Friday, Oct. 19, at 4pm at the Microl Intersection, and on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 4pm at the Bank of Guam - Hard Rock Café Intersection.
Get Fit CNMI, LLC will be hosting a fundraiser on Oct. 27 at 10am in Chalan Kiya, to support CCA's client assistance program.
The CHC Non-Communicable Disease Bureau will be hosting, “The Breast Cancer Screening Health Conversation,” a gathering of health professionals, cancer awareness organizations and interested individuals on Oct. 30, from 5pm to 9pm at the Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan.
