Jonny's Bar & Grill's Try Luck, Oceanside Bar & Grill's Mafia, and Triple Threat remain in control of their respective divisions in Saipan Electronic Dart Association's 2012 Summer/Fall Bud Light Open Dart League.
Try Luck is boasting a 20-game lead in the Ladies field after crushing SOS Bar & Grill's Wonder Women (71-109), 13-2, on the road last Monday. The win improved the two-time champion' s record to 143-37.
Bammy's Restaurant & Bar's Momes'l Mei (123-57) comes next in the standings, though at a distant second, however, as it managed to get on its horse this week and corralled a 14-1 home rout of Oceanside's Shooters G-Side (67-113).
The third-ranked Es'y Kitchen's B-52 Shooters (110-70) trail the pair by quite a bit, but represents the last group with a winning record nonetheless. The B-52 Shooters went into Joe's Steakhouse this week and skunked the Daffodils (43-137), 15-0, while Naked Fish Bar & Grill's Man Amigas (83-97) pulled off a sweet 11-4 home upset over Joe's Just Like Dat (80-100) to surpass its rival in the standings.
Notables remain a 160-high in by Momes'l Mei's Frances Magofna and a 152-high out by her teammate Sally Aguon.
In the A division, Mafia escaped past SOS's 101 Proofers (73-97), 9-8, for a relieving road thriller and improved its card to 107-63.
Mafia is still running the show, but gave up a significant part of its lead, as second placer SOS's Outlawz (100-70) surged to within seven games this week with a strong 14-3 road rout over the third-ranked Oceanside's Bud Brothers (94-93).
Bammy's Sabalu Boys (74-96) drew a bye this week and Sands Bar's Juvy Predators (81-89) swapped chairs with SOS's Mixblood Shooters (83-104) after a 10-7 victory at home.
Notables remain a 160-high in and a 131-high out by 101 Proofers' Rolly Bermiso.
In the Tuesday B field, Triple Threat toasted SOS's Dartaholiks (89-91), 12-3, at home to improve to a 132-48 slate.
Triple Threat padded its lead against Naked Fish's IT&E Na'Gupu II (115-65) to 17 games after the lopsided win. Naked Fish's IT&E Na'Gupu II also won this week, grinding out an 8-7 road win over third placer VFW Post 3457's Delubyo (104-76). The Top 3 contenders are beginning to pull away from the rest of the group.
In other results, SOS's Seabridge 80 Proofers (83-97) recorded an 8-7 upset over Oceanside's Good Guys (85-95), while Waterfront's K-1 Scorpions (67-113) posted a solid 9-6 home victory versus bottom feeder Oceanside Wreckless Precision (38-142).
Notables remain a 150-high in by K-1 Scorpions' Anson Jones and a 123-high out by Good Guys' Dexter Brennan.
