In conjunction with the “2012 National Energy Action Month” the Department of Public Works / Energy Division Office will be hosting an Energy Awareness Campaign on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, (morning and afternoon session only) at the Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan in Garapan.
The first session is from 9am to 11am while the second session is from 2pm to 4pm.
This campaign will provide the residential community tips on how to conserve energy at homes and how to save money using efficient products that carry the Energy Star label. This event will educate the community of the importance of energy conservation in the Commonwealth.
The Energy Division through its Energy Education, Efficiency and Conservation efforts will be distributing reusable shopping bags with Home Energy Savings Kits and an opportunity to obtain either a 16” pedestal fan or portable stove by participating in the 2012 National Energy Action Month event.
Due to limited seating, interested individuals must pre-register with the CNMI Energy Division office to confirm attendance and seating from 7:30am to 4:30pm by Oct. 26, 2012. In addition, registered attendees will be required to present a copy of their most recent utility bill, in their name, in order to be allowed to participate in the sessions.
Participants are required to be present an hour before the start of the event for registration purposes. (Office of the Governor)
