Continuing its breast cancer awareness advocacy, Hard Rock Café Saipan will host anew the Pinktober Concert celebration on Friday, Oct. 26.
Entrance fee is $11 per person and includes one beverage. Doors open at 6pm for Friday's event, which will feature performances by Afetnas, Absolute 3, Jerry and the Gigolo's, Capas, and Marvin Espeleta, as well as “pink” menu offerings.
Kenneth M. Geronimo, regional assistant general manager for Hard Rock Café Guam & Saipan, said in an email that more than half of the proceeds will go to the Commonwealth Cancer Association.
CCA is a community-based non-profit group dedicated to promoting cancer awareness and prevention, providing patient support services, and serving as the liaison and advocate for cancer issues in the Northern Marianas.
According to Geronimo, almost 300 tickets have already been sold for the event that is supported by various companies on island, including Century Tours, Delta Air Lines, Foremost, Luen Fung, and Marpac.
He encouraged the community to support and participate in the annual signature fundraising event of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the CNMI, now on its third year on Saipan and the 13th year for Hard Rock International.
“Hard Rock Café Saipan hopes to raise funds again for the [CCA] for its heroic projects and breast cancer awareness campaigns,” Geronimo told Saipan Tribune.
Limited edition Pinktober merchandise such as T-shirts, pins, bracelets, and sunglasses will also be sold at the event, and proceeds from the sale will benefit two groups.
