The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled a power interruption this Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, from 8:30am to 12:30pm, affecting As Lito and Koblervilled.
The purpose of the interruption is to de-energize the primary lines so the CUC line crew may work safely as they replace a rotten primary power pole in Koblerville on Chalan Monsignor Martinez Road. In addition, a separate crew will be performing systems maintenance on 13 power poles by replacing deteriorated cross arm bolts along As Lito Road from Shell Gas Station in Dandan to the Mobil Gas Station in Koblerville.
Water services may be affected in the area during the power interruption; however, all services should be restored after the power is re-energized.
Areas affected are As Lito Road (JTV Bldg., Happy Market, Wushin Corp. [LP Gas], and Guangdong), Dokko Pl., Kostat Dr., Tofuk Pl., Tika Ln., As Lito Dr. (Saipan International School), Tanu Ln., Lana Dr., and Atool Pl.
Because of the scale of the work that will be performed, travelers are asked to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas. CUC apologizes for any inconvenience this power interruption may have on the community and asks for the community's continued patience and understanding as the crews continue to work diligently to minimize future interruptions.
