The Philippine Consulate General in Agana will not be able to keep a 670 number that Filipinos in the CNMI can call without incurring long distance charges.
Guam Consul Edgar Tomas “Gary” Q. Auxilian said in a recent interview that it will not be possible for the consulate to keep a local number in the Northern Marianas.
Auxilian noted, however, that the Filipino community in the Commonwealth can get in touch with the Guam Consulate for consular services and assistance through other modes of communication.
Starting Nov. 1, the new official email address of the Guam Consulate is firstname.lastname@example.org.
The consulate can also be contacted by calling (671) 646-4620 or 30 at the office, (671) 649-1868 for fax, and (671) 488-4630 for hotline.
Physical address is Suite 601-602, ITC Building, 590 Marine Corps Drive in Tamuning, while the mailing address is P.O. Box 9880, Tamuning 96931, Guam.

Auxilian added that they are awaiting advice about the recommendation of former Saipan Consul General Medardo G. Macaraig for the appointment of honorary consuls.
Macaraig, who left for his next assignment in Kuala Lumpur two weeks before the Saipan consulate closure, nominated one Filipino each on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota to serve in that capacity.
The nominees will have to be sanctioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila and the U.S. State Department.
