The Commonwealth Cancer Association announced over the weekend that it will be sponsoring a Bingo Spectacular fundraising event in partnership with the Massive Bingo Bonanza on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. IMB and CCA board members, staff and volunteers will be at the former Garapan Fishing Base Complex to raise funds for CCA programs and services.
The CCA thanks Ben M. Babauta and families for their partnership and assistance in getting the word out to the community about the CCA through the “Bingo Games” event, and for sponsoring the event to raise funds for CCA programs and services.
The “Massive Bingo Bonanza” is one of several events in the community that the CCA has partnered with to aid in fundraising and provide opportunities to distribute fact sheets about cancer, and at the same time encourage everyone to enjoy.
“Massive Bingo Bonanza” will take place at the former Fishing Base Complex, across the Horiguchi Building in Garapan. Participants will have the opportunity to vie for a $1,000 cash guarantee payout prize. Tickets are $20 for one package, each package providing 10 games. The doors will open at 2pm and the games will start at 3pm.
The community is encouraged to come and enjoy the games and assist the very worthy cause of facilitating cancer programs in the CNMI. All proceeds from the event will go to CCA.
