NMC English and Math placement test schedule

The Northern Marianas College will be conducting the English and Math placement tests on the following dates:

ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST

-Jan. 10, Thursday: 9am - 4pm, Building W, (As Terlaje, Saipan)

-Jan. 11, Friday: 9am - 4pm, Building W, (As Terlaje, Saipan)

MATH PLACEMENT TEST

-Jan. 10, Thursday: 9am - 4pm, Building W, (As Terlaje, Saipan)

-Jan. 11: Friday: 9am - 4pm, Building W, (As Terlaje, Saipan)

Those who wish to take courses at NMC must take the placement tests. Registration for NMC's spring 2013 semester will begin on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013.

There is a $25 fee for each placement test that must be paid in advance at the NMC Cashier (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm). Students will not be allowed into the testing room without proof of payment (a receipt for the placement test fee, or the NMC application fee). Payment for the application fee will cover the English placement test fee. If you have a placement test fee waiver, students must obtain a placement test slip from the Office of Admissions and Records prior to taking the test.

Test takers must also bring a valid photo ID (driver's license, passport or school ID) and pencils. No admittance to the testing room will be allowed after the starting time.

Those who wish to take the English and Math placement tests are strongly encouraged to contact the Testing Center to schedule an appointment. “Walk-in” test takers will be accommodated based on seat availability.
