TASC arrests two for alleged burglary

Acting Public Safety commissioner Ambrosio T. Ogumoro, announced Friday more arrests made by the Thief Apprehension Select Coalition force of the CNMI Department of Public Safety's Criminal Investigative Bureau. Operations conducted the past few days resulted in the following arrests:

NAME: ANASTACIO, Petrus

AGE: 52, Palauan, male

ADDRESS: Koblerville

LOCATION OF ARREST: Koblerville (suspect's residence)

DATE AND TIME OF ARREST: Jan. 9, 2013, at 9:34am

CHARGE(S): Conspiracy and principle to aiding and abetting to commit burglary and theft

BAIL: $25,000 (cash)

STOLEN PROPERTY VALUE: Copper wire, two cases of soda and power tools

RECOVERED PROPERTY VALUE: Copper wire, a cordless drill and skill saw

SYNOPSIS: Anastacio was arrested for committing a conspiracy and aiding and abetting to commit burglary and theft violation at the former Uno Moda Garment Factory in Afetnas on Dec. 19, 2012. Anastacio was brought before the CNMI Superior Court for a bail hearing on Jan. 9, 2013.

NAME: JINDAWONG, Jeffrey

AGE:18, Thai-Chamorro

ADDRESS: Koblerville

LOCATION OF ARREST: Koblerville (residence of suspect)

DATE AND TIME OF ARREST: Jan. 9, 2013 at 9:59am

CHARGE(S): Burglary, conspiracy, criminal mischief and theft

BAIL: $25,000 (cash)

STOLEN PROPERTY VALUE: Two cases of soda, copper wire, skill saw, cordless drill and other types of power tools

RECOVERED PROPERTY VALUE: Copper wire, skill saw and a cordless drill

SYNOPSIS: Jindawong was arrested for committing a burglary, conspiracy, criminal mischief and theft violation at the former Uno Moda Garment Factory in Afetnas on De. 19, 2012. Jindawong will be brought before the CNMI Superior Court for a bail hearing on Jan. 9, 2013.

Ogumoro assures the public, there are still more arrests to be made in the coming days. All victims of property crimes who have filed a police report are urged to contact Sgt. Tom Blas at 664-9051 to help identify if your property was recovered.
