Rebels, Sun Palace resume play in Blue Haus caging

(Walter Sutherland) The 3rd Blue Haus Invitational Basketball League resumes tonight with a pair of games at the Garapan Basketball Court.

In the curtain raiser at 6:30pm, the undefeated R-Rebels take on Sun Palace, while Team Capalad collides with the Bandits at 8pm. Games were suspended last week due to scheduling problem.

Before the brief break, the R-Rebels managed to take the solo lead in Pool A with their perfect 3-0 record. The Rollers (3-1) are in second place, followed by Kentucky Fried Chicken (2-2), Servitek (2-2), Sun Palace (2-2), and JWS (0-5).

In Pool B, San Antonio remains unscathed with is 4-0 mark, while Docomo Pacific (4-1) is in good standing over Maplas Ka'Monney (1-2), the Bandits (0-3) and Team Capalad (0-3).

The Insider (4-0) leads Pool C and is a strong contender in the playoffs, ahead of Hite (2-1), Yuman Construction (2-1), Cargo Express (1-1) and Hibiscus (1-2). Yuichiro Electric (0-4) is out of contention, but still needs to finish the pool play match.

Only the Top 2 finishers in each pool will advance to the playoffs.
