The newly chartered Marianas Golf Association is holding its first monthly event, coined as January Ace of the Month, this Sunday at the Marianas Country Club.
Show time is set for 9am with a 10am tee off.
MGA president Carl Hocog claimed the group already has 20 members and they are inviting all interested golfers to come out and join them this weekend.
“The MGA is open to both male and female players of all ages and we plan on holding our events to different locations every month to keep things interesting,” Hocog said.
The MGA requires a $50 annual fee, which should be paid in full on or before the March Ace of the Month event.
Besides playing at MCC this weekend, MGA will also hold tournaments at Coral Ocean Point Resort Club, Kingfisher Golf Linksm and Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort. Red, white, and blue tees will also be utilized depending on the players' handicap. Further details about the net scoring system will be discussed after the Sunday round.
