DFS Galleria's Team DFS-670 employees club is holding its Fun “Love's” Run 5K and 10K fundraiser this coming Saturday, Feb. 16.
The 10-kilometer route begins at DFS and runs south along Beach Road to First Hawaiian Bank (at the Oleai Center) and back, while the 5K route ventures the same direction to Triple J Motors and back. Both routes begin and end at DFS Galleria.
Proceeds raised from the runs will benefit Team DFS-670's annual DFS Goodwill Olympics Games between Team DFS-670 and DFS-Guam's Team DFS-671.
It costs only $10 to compete, which includes a raffle ticket into a prize giveaway that will take place as part of the closing awards ceremony.
The Top 5 finishers of each division will receive some handsome rewards provided by DFS.
Onsite registration begins at 5:15am with the race scheduled for 6am. Pre-registration forms can be obtained at DFS from 10:30am to 10pm.
Event organizer request that participants dress in red in light of Valentine's Day.
The trek also serves as a good warm-up leading into the Saipan Marathon, scheduled for March 2.
