Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help for information on a car burglary and theft incident that occurred at the Last Command Post, Marpi.
On Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at about 1pm, the victims, a Japanese tourist couple (male, age 48, and female, age 34) parked their rented 2012 silver Toyota Corolla sedan at the parking lot of the Last Command Post.
The tourists walked down to the cliff side, took photos and returned several minutes later to discover the front passenger window broken and their personal items stolen. There was no sighting of anyone in the area. The suspect(s) may have been hiding in the tree line.
The missing items include a Coach bag, containing a pair of gold earrings, a gold necklace, a hotel safe key, two credit cards, medication, and about $150 cash.
