The Tinian Mayor's Office and various sponsors are holding a 5K fun run tomorrow on Tinian during the annual Hot Pepper Festival, known also as the Pika Festival.
The first 25 finishers of the 5K fun run will receive T-shirts provided by Tinian resident and lawyer Janet King.
The 5K course begins and ends at the Taga Beach parking lot. The turnaround point and water station will be at the picturesque Lookout Point near Suicide Cliff.
Onsite registration for the 5K fun run begins this Saturday at 6:15am with the race scheduled for 7am.
Meanwhile, a 30K bike race will also be held this weekend. Onsite registration for Sunday bike race begins at 5:45am and bikers will head out to the course at 6:30am. There are no entry fees for both fun run and bike ride.
