Possible traffic diverts as water system project gets underway

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. issued a statement yesterday that a water system improvement project is now underway in the following areas: across Northern Marianas College on Chalan Msgr. Guerrero Road; along Chalan Tun Herman Pan Road by Herman's Bakery; and near Dandan Elementary School on Dandan Road.

This project will help move water from the San Vicente Tank to serve customers in the Lower Dandan, Fina Sisu, and As Lito villages.

“We kindly ask the public to plan ahead in their travels as the contractor's (GPPC Inc.) crew may divert traffic. CUC will notify the public about any anticipated water outages in advance,” the CUC statement adds.

For further questions or concerns, call CUC's 24-Hour Call Center at 664-4282. (CUC)
