Saralu so far has six hits in just nine at bats for an impressive hitting rate of 0.667, is edging D-9ers' Rocco Reyes (0.625), Yankees' Greg F. Camacho (0.500), St. Michael Medical Response Angel' John B. Reyes (0.500), Ben Jones (0.444), Gary Cruz (0.417), and Nunu Kapileo (0.400), D-9ers' E.J. Tenorio (0.375), and IT&E's Ricardo Dela Cruz (0.375) with three others floating batting averages above 0.300.
Saralu has also scored a league-high seven runs and is included in the triples club along with seven other players.
Saralu is also tangled in a four-way tie for second place in runs batted in behind teammate Clifton Salil (4). Brewers' Jared Sablan, Angels' Cruz, and D-9ers' Lizama are all tied with the former at three apiece.
In addition, Yankees' Greg Camacho paces 12 other players in doubles with two, while teammate Brian Camacho and Brewers' Leonard Sablan each boast a homer early on in the season. Batting statistics were based off a minimum of eight at bats.
In pitching, IT&E Fielders' Jimmy Brel leads a four-horse stable of perfect 0.00 earned run averages though his 5 2/3 innings represents the longest shift, thus giving him current dibs on the lead.
Yankees pitcher Dave Camacho leads two other contenders maintaining a perfect 0.00 earned run average from the mound, however the former holds dibs on the top slot for preserving the mark through seven innings.
Angels' Manny Cabrera and Brel trail close behind with 6 and 5 2/3's inning under their belts, respectively.
Next comes Yankees' Jared Camacho (8 innings pitches), D-9ers' Ben Lizama Jr. (14), Yankees' Bobby Castro (6) and Angels' Franco Flores (6) with three others hanging around above 3.00.
Brewers flame thrower Vince Cepeda (16.2) is well out in front in the strikeout count with 28 and leads teammate Tom Camacho (12), D-9ers' Lizama Jr. (11), Yankees' Dave Camacho (9), and Jared Camacho (9).
Current team standings show the defending champion Yankees atop the field after going undefeated through four games with the 2012 runner-up Brewers (2-2), IT&E Fielders (1-1), the Angels (1-2), and the D-9ers (0-3) filling out the rest of the pecking order.
