Due to the current fiscal environment, Naval Base Guam will implement new procedures at the main gate and U.S. Naval Hospital for those requiring guest and vehicle passes to enter the installation.
Effective yesterday, March 6, those requesting a guest/vehicle pass for NBG main base or USNH will need to first go to the Visitor Control Center outside the NBG main gate between the hours of 6:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday, and 8am to 5pm Saturdays and Sundays. During non-VCC working hours, all passes will be issued by the gate guard.
The only exception to this is if a person is visiting a patient at the hospital. In this case, the visitor will be required to provide the name of the patient to the USNH guard. The guard will verify the name with USNH and conduct a routine vehicle check including current registration, insurance, and a driver's license. Once approved, the guard will issue a one-day pass. All visitors are to proceed directly to the hospital and exit the installation through the gate upon completion of the visit.
