The Xclusive Golfers Association is holding its February Ace of the Month Tournament tomorrow at the Kingfisher Golf Links. Show time is set for noon with a 1pm tee off.
The winner qualifies to compete for the group's coveted Ace of Aces title in its season-ending event on January 2014.
This month's winner joins reigning 2012 Ace of Aces champion and 2013 January Ace winner Ki So Kim as qualifiers into the Ace of Aces Tournament.
The February event was postponed due to some members' participation in a separate fundraiser golf tournament to help a good cause.
Since its inception, the XGA has been known to support numerous activities in the community such as the local Little League program and has coupled some of its event's in the past to benefit students and people in need of off island medical referrals.
The XGA is made up of about 30 members, and contrast to its name, the club is open to the public and anyone is welcome can join.
The group is currently accepting new members and has reduced its annual membership fee for newcomers from $30 to $50; renewal for returning members is $25; club polo shirts are also available for only $25.
On the day of events, players are also required to foot a green fee along with an added modest charge that goes toward the awards banquet, prize money, and incentives for the club.
