Publishing staff from one of Japan's most influential guides for overseas weddings were in the Northern Mariana Islands earlier this month to discover the tropical allure of this beach resort destination for couples ready to tie the knot.
The estimated advertising exposure value for the Northern Marianas is $1.2 million.
Zexy Overseas Wedding Guide plans to dedicate the first six pages of its April 2013 issue to telling its 32,000 subscribers about wedding facilities and amenities in Saipan, as well as honeymoon and other leisure experiences available here.
“Couples aren't looking for just a wedding, they're looking to fulfill a dream, and Zexy Overseas Wedding Guide coverage will be a great opportunity to help couples imagine that dream coming true in the Northern Marianas,” said Marianas Visitors Authority marketing manager Bruce Bateman.
The MVA assisted the six-member media team with securing photography permits, a dolphin watching tour with Saipan Sea Ventures, and a tour of Managaha with Tasi Tours.
During their tour from March 4-8, 2013, the magazine team also focused on the wedding chapel and amenities of Hyatt Regency Saipan, where they lodged. (MVA)
