Statement on the passing of PFC Mariano Raymundo

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Delegate Madeleine Z. Bordallo (D-GU) has issued the following statement on the passing of Private First Class Mariano M. Raymundo, U.S. Army, a 21-year-old former resident of Tamuning, Guam.

“I am deeply saddened at the loss of Private First Class Mariano M. Raymundo, another young son of Guam,” said Bordallo. “My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends on this sad day. He served with honor and distinction like many sons and daughters of Guam who served before him and gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. We will be eternally grateful for his bravery and service to our nation.”
