The Department of Public Works said yesterday that the construction of Cross Island Road, Phase II-B (Isa Drive) from its intersection with Kagman Road to the former Sara Market Store will begin on Aug. 13, 2013, and is expected to be completed on Oct. 16, 2014.
The construction operations will be Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm.
Also, DPW said that the construction of Beach Road/Tun Segundo traffic signal system in Chalan Kanoa started on July 18, 2013, and is expected to be completed by May 14, 2014. The construction operations will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
DPW said there will be reasonable delays in the public’s travel along the construction areas as changes in traffic patterns may likely occur. The public is advised to plan their travel accordingly, drive safely, obey traffic signs and speed limit of 15 mph along construction zones. (DPW)
